Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026. [DRAFT for owner approval: confirm the legal entity, address and contact email.]
PrintClass ("the app") is operated by Cristian Barin, [LEGAL ENTITY AND ADDRESS] ("we"). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and what your choices are.
What we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we receive a user id, your email address (or Apple's private relay address) and, if provided, your name. We use it to keep your progress and subscription linked to you on every device.
- Course progress. Which lessons you opened, how far you watched, and which you marked as done.
- Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription, its expiry date and the store (App Store or Google Play). We never see your payment details; Apple and Google handle the payment.
- Support messages. What you send through "Contact support" or "Send feedback", with the app version, OS version and language so we can help.
- Push notification token. Only if you allow notifications.
- Usage and crash data (optional). Only if you accept on the consent screen: anonymous events such as "lesson opened" and crash reports, through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. You can change this in Settings → Privacy at any time. We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not track you across other apps.
- Watch time. Total minutes watched per day, to monitor our video bandwidth.
Video playback
Lessons are streamed from Vimeo with "do not track" enabled. Vimeo may process your IP address to deliver the video. See Vimeo's privacy policy.
How long we keep data
As long as your account exists. Deleting your account (in the app under Settings, or at /delete-account) removes your profile, progress and support messages. Store purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their policies; we keep a minimal record linking a past purchase to the deleted account to prevent reuse of the same subscription, without personal data.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Service providers we use: Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, analytics and crash reports, in the United States), Vimeo (video), Expo (push notifications), Apple and Google (payments). They process data on our behalf.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw analytics consent, at any time. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. Contact: support@chrisbarin.com.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of consent in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above.
